Free Phishing Awareness Quiz: Practise Spotting Suspicious Messages
Practise recognising suspicious messages with Cyvack’s free phishing awareness quiz. Choose an answer for each scenario, read the explanation and review your score at the end.
How to use the quiz
- Start a session and read each scenario carefully.
- Choose the response you think is safest.
- Read the feedback before continuing.
- Review your final score and try again to practise.
Questions and answer choices are shuffled. Focus on the warning signs instead of memorising answer positions.
What should you look for in a suspicious message?
- Pressure to act immediately or keep a request secret.
- Requests for a password, verification code or unexpected payment.
- Sender details or destinations that do not match the organisation claimed.
- An attachment or sign-in request you were not expecting.
A familiar name or polished writing is not proof that a message is safe. Verify unusual requests through an independent contact method you already trust.
Can I use it for awareness training?
You can use the quiz for individual practice or discuss the scenarios as a group. It provides an individual session score and answer explanations. It does not send simulated emails, manage employee campaigns or provide an organisation-wide analytics dashboard.
Does a high score prove I cannot be phished?
No. A quiz is practice, and real attacks can be more convincing or arrive through different channels. Use it to build the habit of pausing and checking before acting.
